Ken joined GVNW’s Western Region office in 1985 preparing and analyzing separations studies with special expertise in the area of taxes.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1972 from Oral Roberts University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound with an emphasis in Accounting and Management.
Ken began his career in the telephone industry with Ernst & Whinney in Tacoma, Washington. His prior industry experience includes a position with GTE in Indianapolis as a financial analyst/economic cost studies, and more recently with Pacific Northwest Bell (PNB), as a staff specialist/federal taxes, filing various forms and schedules for PNB’s federal and state income tax returns.
With GVNW, Ken has actively participated in national industry committees, determining the impact of revisions to FCC accounting, separations, and access charge rules and procedures. This work has included the formulation of strategies and submission of comments to the FCC/Joint Boards on behalf of client companies. He has also participated with other GVNW personnel in special state access charge compliance review studies of RBOC and major independent companies. |
