Jeffry joined GVNW’s Western Region office in 1996 where he has been involved with national policy issues, special projects, and cost study services for clients.
Jeffry currently represents GVNW on both universal service and access reform issues in a variety of arenas, and is responsible for both regulatory commission testimony and legislative testimony on small company issues. Jeff has been actively involved in GVNW’s seminar efforts during 1997-2003.
Jeffry currently participates on OPASTCO’s Separations and Access Committee, is a former member of the Board of Directors of the United States Telecom Association, and was a member of its Small Company Committee.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in 1978 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Jeffry has experience with several small independent telephone companies, including Vice President positions with Arapahoe and Keystone-Arthur Telephone Companies. In those positions, Jeffry was responsible for all aspects of regulatory and legislative processes, as well as general management functions for ILEC operations. Prior to these positions, Jeffry was a Senior Manager for Ernst & Whinney where he was responsible for general consulting to the telephone industry.
With over 25 years of experience dealing with federal issues, and eight years as a registered lobbyist, Jeff offers GVNW clients a unique background to deal with the issues at a state and federal level.
