Bob is President and Chief Executive Officer of GVNW Consulting, Inc. and specializes in Regulatory and Business Planning.  He joined the corporation as Manager of the Midwest Region in 1984.  After earning his Masters of Accountancy Degree from Brigham Young University in 1973, Bob joined GTE, serving in several revenue and accounting positions.  He was appointed Director of Revenue and Earnings of General Telephone Company of Illinois in 1977.

In 1981, he accepted the position of Accounting Director with General Telephone Company of Michigan, and later that year was elected Controller of General Telephone Company of Indiana and Michigan.  Bob was appointed Vice President-Revenue Requirements for General Telephone Company of the Midwest in 1982.

Bob specializes in providing analysis and policy consulting services in the areas of rate and regulatory policy, inter-company compensation and business planning for both individual clients and groups of companies.  He has presented testimony regarding separations, compensation, accounting, tariff, rate designing, network modernization and regulatory policy matters before state regulatory commissions in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Tennessee, Missouri, New Mexico and Iowa.  Representation of client groups has included assignments in Missouri, Iowa and Illinois on such issues as competition, intrastate compensation, state high cost funds and interexchange calling plans.  Bob is also the only consultant chosen to serve as a member of the Rural Task Force on Universal Service.
