Position Description
Consultant is responsible for data gathering, completion, and submission of various projects, such as interstate/state/local cost studies, USF filings, strategic plans, budget development, and other federal or state data requirements. The Consultant also assists in the preparation of state and interstate access tariff filings; interacts with client management level employees, as well as NECA personnel, in the submission and completion of projects; and, performs special projects and studies as assigned.

Requirements/Knowledge/Skills
Requirements for the position include a Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry. Experience with subsidiary operations a plus.

Knowledge of federal and state financial reporting laws and regulations, subsidiary operations and prior revenue experience requirement is a plus.   The individual selected for this position will be expected to think analytically and have the ability to identify and resolve problems.

Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and solid computer abilities are required.  Applicant should have knowledge in auditing, cash management, budgeting and forecasting.  Travel is required.
